Pasaje Pan is a 19th-century shopping arcade in the heart of Rosario — one of those atmospheric covered passages that were fashionable across Latin America in the Belle Époque, and which have mostly been lost to modernisation. This one survives intact with its original ironwork, tiled floors, and glass ceiling.
The arcade still hosts an eclectic range of tenants: a luthier workshop, the local Esperanto Association, a few small shops dealing in antiques and curiosities. It is the kind of place that rewards an unhurried wander — not a major sight, but genuinely distinctive and worth seeking out if you are exploring the city centre on foot.
