Getting There

Rosario is 300 km northwest of Buenos Aires, and well connected by road, air, and long-distance bus.

By air, Rosario has its own international airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Islas Malvinas), with direct flights from Buenos Aires and a handful of other Argentine cities. The airport is around 10 km northwest of the centre; taxis and remises cover the journey in 20 minutes.

By bus, Rosario's central terminal is one of the most active in Argentina — buses run to Buenos Aires every 30 minutes or so, with the journey taking around 4 hours. Direct services connect to Córdoba, Mendoza, and the northwest, as well as international connections to Montevideo and Santiago.

By road, Rosario sits on the Autopista Rosario–Buenos Aires, a toll motorway that makes the drive to the capital straightforward in around 3.5 to 4 hours.
