A classic confitería on the pedestrian section of Calle 25 de Mayo, with marble tables, slow waiters, and a window display of pastries and submarinos (hot milk with a chocolate bar dropped in). The sort of place where retired men spend two hours over a single cortado.
Open from morning through to late evening — equally fine for breakfast, an afternoon merienda, or a nightcap.
