El Angosto is one of the red-rock formations that make Tupiza feel like a western film set. The name means “the narrow place,” and the route squeezes between eroded cliffs, dry gullies, and desert colours that shift with the sun.
Most travellers see it on a jeep, cycling, or horseback circuit from town. It is not a standalone all-day sight, but it is a strong piece of the Tupiza landscape and helps explain why the area is so good for slow, dusty excursions.
