Goiânia is served by Santa Genoveva Airport, about 7 km north of the city centre. Domestic flights connect to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, and most major Brazilian cities. A taxi from the airport to the centre costs around R$40–60. There is no metro link to the airport; buses run but are slow.
By road, Goiânia is 210 km southwest of Brasília — a two-hour drive on the BR-060. Regular coach services connect the cities throughout the day. The main bus terminal (Rodoviária de Goiânia) is centrally located and has services to all major cities in Goiás state and beyond.
