Pátio Havana occupies a corner spot on Rua das Pedras with an outdoor terrace and a consistently good cocktail programme. The bar has a Cuban theme that mostly manifests in the rum selection — there is a long list of aged rums and the mojitos are made properly, with fresh mint and not too much sugar. Caipirinhas are also available for those who want to stay local.
The evening atmosphere is relaxed without being sleepy. Live music appears on most nights during summer, typically starting around 10pm and running late. It is a good first stop before a longer evening, or a destination in itself if you prefer conversation over dancing.
