Most visitors arrive at El Dorado International Airport (BOG), about 13 km west of the centre. Taxis from the airport use a fixed-rate system based on zones -- buy a ticket at the official taxi stand inside the terminal. The ride to La Candelaria or the Zona Rosa takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. There are also airport buses and the TransMilenio bus rapid transit connects to the city. AVIANCA is the main Colombian airline, with domestic flights to most cities. Long-distance buses arrive at the Terminal de Transporte in the west of the city.
