Bogota's planetarium sits inside the pleasant Parque de la Independencia, a ten-minute walk from the city centre. The facility runs regular sky shows under its domed theatre as well as temporary exhibitions on astronomy and earth sciences. It's a good outing with children, and the surrounding park is a relaxed spot to linger before or after. Open Tuesday to Sunday; shows run several times daily.
