Parque de la 93 — simply "la 93" to locals — is a well-maintained park in the El Chicó neighbourhood surrounded on all sides by restaurants, bars, and cafes. It is the closest thing Bogota has to a European outdoor plaza: well-dressed locals eat and drink at tables spilling onto the pavement, and the park itself fills with joggers, dog-walkers, and people watching on weekend afternoons.
The restaurants here cover every price range and cuisine. For a sense of upper-middle-class Bogota at leisure, spend a Sunday afternoon walking around the park and then stopping at one of the terrace bars for a chicha sour or a local craft beer. It is safer and more relaxed than the Zona T, and the food is generally better.
