A breeding house rather than a display case: they raise butterflies for reproduction and conservation, and the payoff is a flight room with something over a thousand of them in the air around you. Come mid-morning when it is warm and they are flying.
There are bamboo and pambil observation towers over the forest, a hummingbird platform where you sit still and let several hundred of them work the feeders, and a restaurant.
Entry is $8.50 for adults and $5.00 for children between four and eleven. Open Thursday to Monday 09:00–16:00, Tuesday and Wednesday 09:00–14:00.
