A small museum in the house where Maria Reiche lived and worked for decades while researching the Nazca Lines. The German-born mathematician arrived in Peru in the 1940s and dedicated more than 50 years to mapping, protecting, and interpreting the lines. The museum displays her measuring instruments, field notebooks, drawings, and personal photographs. Her grave is in the garden. The museum is on the Panamericana highway, about 30 km north of Nazca town, near the mirador that gives a ground-level view of three of the figures.
