Prescraft Handicraft Centre

A workshop and shop in Bamenda where Cameroonian craftworkers — mostly women, mostly trained through Presbyterian church programmes — produce woodcarvings, beadwork, basketry, textiles, and traditional musical instruments. Prices are higher than in the market but the quality is reliable and the proceeds support the artists directly.

The shop is the best place in the city to find serious Tikar and Bamiléké masks, beaded calabashes, and indigo cloth. Closes Sundays.
