Kribi has a tropical, year-round warm climate, with the sea around 26 to 28°C in every month. The defining variable is rain, not temperature.
The driest months — and the best for a beach trip — are December through February, and to a lesser extent June and July. The heaviest rains fall from August through October, when downpours can be intense and dirt tracks to the more remote beaches become difficult. The transition months (March to May) are humid but still manageable. Sea-turtle nesting on the southern beaches runs from November to February.
