Things to Do

Kribi's appeal is straightforward: long, palm-fringed Atlantic beaches and one of the most unusual waterfalls in the world. The town itself is small and easily walked in an afternoon — most of the sights are spread out along the coast road, north and south of the centre.

A full day here means picking a beach, eating grilled fish under a thatched awning, and driving down to Chutes de la Lobé in the late afternoon when the light is best. For longer stays, the Pygmy villages along the Lobé River and the artisanal fishing port at Londji give a sense of how the coast actually lives.
