Eating Out

Port Said's waterfront and commercial streets have a good range of restaurants and cafes. Seafood is the local specialty — fresh fish from the Mediterranean, shrimp, and shellfish are all good here, and cheaper than in Cairo. The free-trade zone means imported goods are available at low prices, and some restaurants have better-stocked wine lists than you would find elsewhere in Egypt.
