Seven Pillars (Tobia Arbaa)

Seven closely grouped coral pinnacles rising from about 12 metres, each one blanketed in hard and soft corals and teeming with reef fish. Schooling juvenile barracuda weave between the pillars, stingrays rest on the sandy patches below, and triggerfish, pufferfish, and groupers occupy every available ledge. It's one of the shallower and more sheltered dive sites around Safaga, which makes it good for all levels — and a favourite for a second or third dive of the day when divers are conserving air and nitrogen. Also popular with snorkellers when the surface conditions allow.
