Al-Mostafa Mosque is the largest mosque in Sharm el-Sheikh, set away from the resort strip in the old market area. Its tall minarets and ornate facade make it one of the city's more distinctive landmarks, especially in the evening light.
Non-Muslim visitors should be respectful around prayer times, but the exterior alone is worth a look if you are already in this part of town. Occasional tours are offered, and there is a small shop with Islamic books.
