Getting There

Monrovia is served by Roberts International Airport (ROB), about 60 km east of the city. The drive takes 60–90 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions; shared taxis and private hire cars wait outside arrivals. Brussels Airlines, Air France (via connections), and regional African carriers including Air Côte d'Ivoire and Kenya Airways serve Roberts.

There is also Spriggs Payne Airport closer to the city, which handles domestic flights and some regional charter operations.

Overland entry is possible from Sierra Leone (via Ganta and Monrovia highways), Côte d'Ivoire, and Guinea, though road conditions vary and border formalities can be slow.
