Colombo is Durban's serious specialty coffee shop, on Florida Road — single-origin roasted on site, V60 and AeroPress for purists, and a flat white that the city's coffee snobs reliably rate the best in town. The roastery is at the back; you can watch them work through a glass window.
The food is limited — sourdough toast, granola, a few sandwiches — but well executed. Comes into its own as a weekend morning stop. Take a bag of beans home; they ship country-wide.
