Suncoast is the big art-deco-styled casino and entertainment complex at the northern end of the Golden Mile, on the beach next to the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Beyond the gaming floor it has a movie multiplex, a dozen restaurants, a private beach club and an outdoor concert venue.
Even if you don't gamble, it's a useful all-weather option — the food court is decent, the cinema runs late, and the building's neon-and-palm aesthetic is fun in its own kitsch way. Free entry; smart casual after dark.
