Origins Centre is a museum at the University of the Witwatersrand focused on southern African rock art and the deep history of human origins. The displays use multimedia well, making the subject easier to follow than a simple object collection would.
It is a strong inner-city stop for anyone interested in archaeology, early human history, or San rock art. The museum also has a bookshop, curio shop, and cafe.
