Haka Game Park is a small conservation and recreation area on the eastern edge of Harare, close to Cleveland Dam. It is not a substitute for Zimbabwe's national parks, but it gives city visitors a quick dose of open space, walking, birdlife, and a chance of seeing antelope without leaving the capital for long.
Treat it as a low-key half-day outing. The appeal is ease: picnic areas, tracks, and a quieter landscape than central Harare. It works especially well for families or travellers with a spare morning before a longer trip to the country's bigger wildlife areas.
