Hwange is a waterhole park. The best game viewing often comes from sitting quietly at a pan rather than trying to cover huge distances. Main Camp has the most accessible loops, Sinamatella has the finest high views, and the western pans feel more remote. In the dry season, plan drives around the waterholes; in the green season, expect more birdlife and more dispersed animals.
