Cycle-rickshaws are the standard way to get around the town centre. For the beach road south toward Inani, beach jeeps (CNG auto-rickshaws and share jeeps) run along the coastal track. Negotiate fares before setting off. Boats to Maheshkhali and St. Martin’s Island depart from the main jetty and from Teknaf respectively.
