Seafood is the thing to eat in Sihanoukville — fresh crab, prawns, and fish grilled on the beach or served in simple restaurants along the coast. The beach shacks on Ochheuteal serve whole fish and plates of pepper crab for a few dollars. For something more refined, Koh Pos near the port area is a favourite with both locals and expats, known for steamed fish and shrimp braised in Kampot pepper. Several Khmer-French restaurants along the beaches serve good food at low prices.
