Sanlingshan National Forest Park gives Zhanjiang a sizeable patch of green close to the city. The attraction is simple: wooded hills, water, and paths where the urban heat and traffic drop away for a while.
It is better treated as a half-day nature break than as a must-see monument. Bring water, expect some local holiday crowds, and use it when you want a broader sense of Zhanjiang than the harbour and seafood streets.
