The Museum of Guihai Stele Forest preserves more than two hundred stone inscriptions, with pieces dating from the Tang dynasty through the early 20th century. It is a specialist stop, but a rewarding one for visitors interested in calligraphy, local history, and Guilin's older scholarly culture.
