Triangle Mountain is a 4A-rated scenic area in Xishui County, in the mountain hinterland of Huanggang. The area covers about 60 square kilometres, with a main peak rising to 1,055 metres, and is known locally as both a hiking destination and a patriotic education base.
It is a better fit for travellers using Huanggang as a base for the Dabie Mountains than for a quick city stop, since the mountain lies well east of Huangzhou.
