Within the Wulingyuan park, internal shuttle buses run between all major areas and are included in the park ticket. The Bailong Elevator and cable cars are charged separately — budget around ¥30–60 per lift. The park is large enough that trying to walk all sections would take a week; the standard approach is to use buses and cable cars to position yourself at area entrances and exits, then walk the designated trails between those points.
Zhangjiajie city itself is compact and walkable around the centre. Didi (ride-hailing) and taxis are plentiful and inexpensive for journeys within the urban area or between the city and the park entrance. For the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge, a car is the most practical option — either hired for the day or arranged through accommodation.
