Xuzhou's main draws are its Han Dynasty heritage sites — jade burial suits, terracotta warriors, and royal tombs cut into the hills — and the Huaihai Campaign memorial from the 1948–49 Chinese Civil War. The old neighbourhoods near the downtown rail station reward wandering.
