The Old Tea Horse Road Museum is one of Shuhe Old Town's stronger stops, set in the former Dajue Temple from the late Ming period. The exhibits explain the trade route that linked Yunnan to Tibet and beyond, while the old Buddhist murals give the building its own reason to linger.
