Beach shacks are the defining dining experience in Colva: you eat with your feet in the sand, order grilled fish straight off the boat, and drink cold beer while watching the waves. The quality varies but the ritual is the same everywhere. A handful of more substantial restaurants operate in the main beach area, and the village inland from the beach has small local eateries serving Goan home cooking at a fraction of the beach-strip prices.
