The Tomb of the Mother of Zain-ul-Abidin is a brick mausoleum hidden in the old lanes between the river and Zaina Kadal. It is associated with the family of Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin, one of Kashmir's most important medieval rulers.
The tomb is a small stop, but its brickwork and tucked-away setting make it rewarding while exploring downtown Srinagar. It pairs naturally with Jama Masjid, Pathar Masjid, and the older riverfront quarters.
