Kadalundy Bird Sanctuary protects an estuary where migratory birds gather in the cooler months. Visit between November and February for the best chance of seeing herons, sandpipers, whimbrels, and terns. It is a better stop for patient birdwatchers than for anyone expecting a built-up attraction.
