Mandu's Jami Masjid is a broad, dignified Friday mosque built in warm local stone. The facade is formal and austere, but inside the courtyard the building opens into a rhythm of arches, domes, and shaded prayer halls.
It is one of the clearest places to see why Mandu matters architecturally. The mosque is neither Delhi nor Gujarat in miniature; it has its own Malwa confidence, with weight, symmetry, and restraint carrying the effect.
