October to March is the easiest season, with clear skies and cooler days for moving between exposed monuments. The plateau can be chilly in the early morning.
The monsoon changes Mandu completely. Tanks fill, grass returns to the ruins, and the ravines turn green, but showers can slow road travel and make some paths slippery.
