The Ajanta Caves are the main reason most travellers stop in Jalgaon. Take a bus or taxi to the Fardapur junction (about 55 km), then transfer to the MTDC shuttle that runs to the cave entrance. Ellora, with its temples carved by Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain communities across several centuries, is a longer trip — best done as an overnight or combined with a visit to Aurangabad.
