Linking Road in Bandra is one of Mumbai's best street shopping destinations, a dense commercial strip selling footwear, fashion, accessories, and homewares at prices that mix bargain basement and mid-range. The stretch between Hill Road and Waterfield Road is particularly popular for designer replica shoes and branded-label surplus clothing sold from small shops and pavement stalls.
The market is most active from noon to 9pm. Bargaining is expected and the prices at the nicer shops are often fixed. The street is always crowded on weekends and evenings but the sheer concentration of shopping within a walkable area makes it efficient.
