Panchgani is known for its strawberry products — fresh fruit in season (April–May), jams and preserves, and strawberry-and-cream ice cream — sold everywhere from the market to the Mapro and Mala's factory shops on the highway. Beyond that, small cafes along the main road serve Maharashtrian street food (vada pav, bhel puri, corn on the cob) and tourist-friendly Indian-Chinese. Hotel restaurants handle the sit-down meals.
