Panchgani is pleasant most of the year. October to February is the cool, clear winter — the best time for walking and views. April to early June is hot in the plains but still comfortable up here, and coincides with the strawberry harvest. The monsoon (mid-June to September) is intense but atmospheric, with mist, fog and waterfalls; roads can get slippery and visibility suffers.
