Yeoor Hills form a green, hilly edge to Thane, with forest trails, birdlife, and views that feel surprisingly removed from the city. The area is part of the larger natural belt around Sanjay Gandhi National Park, but it is often approached from the Thane side.
Come for a morning walk or a short trek rather than a polished tourist sight. The old Mama Bhanja shrine adds a local pilgrimage stop to the forest scenery.
