Gurudwara Baba Budha Sahib, often written Bir Baba Budha Sahib, is a major Sikh shrine southwest of Amritsar. It is associated with Baba Budha Ji, the revered first head priest of the Harmandir Sahib, and with stories connected to Guru Arjan Dev's family.
The complex has the white marble, sarovar, and open hospitality that make Punjab's gurdwaras such powerful places to visit. Cover your head, remove your shoes, and behave as you would at the Golden Temple: this is an active place of worship first and a travel sight second.
