Pul Kanjari

Restored Sikh-period stopover associated with Maharaja Ranjit Singh

Pul Kanjari is a small but atmospheric heritage complex west of Amritsar, near the road toward the India-Pakistan border. It preserves a pool, temple, mosque, baradari, and other remains linked with Maharaja Ranjit Singh's journeys between Lahore and Amritsar.

It is not a blockbuster monument, but it rewards travelers already exploring the border-side countryside or combining it with the Attari-Wagah ceremony. The interest is in the layered Sikh, Hindu, and Muslim traces packed into one compact site.
