The main gurudwara of the Model Town residential neighbourhood, a quiet white-marble building set in a small park. The congregation is large enough that the kitchen serves langar (free community meal) every day, and the building has been recently extended. It is not a major pilgrimage site but it is one of the most peaceful spots in central Jalandhar and a good place to experience an ordinary working gurudwara — far quieter than the Golden Temple or the major historical sites in Anandpur Sahib.
Visitors are welcome at any time. Heads must be covered (scarves provided), shoes left at the entrance, and feet washed at the small pool by the steps. Sitting for the langar is a recommended part of the visit.
