Pushkar, fifteen kilometres over the Nag Pahar pass, is the obvious and rewarding day trip — a small, sacred Hindu town with one of the only temples to the god Brahma in India and a famous camel fair in November. Most Ajmer visitors do one or the other; ideally, do both.
