Ajmer is well-served by trains. The main station, Ajmer Junction, is on the Delhi–Ahmedabad line; multiple daily trains from Delhi (around 7 hours), Jaipur (2 hours) and Udaipur (5–7 hours). The Shatabdi Express from New Delhi is the fastest option.
By road, the Jaipur–Ajmer expressway brings Jaipur to within two hours' drive. Frequent buses also run from Jodhpur, Udaipur and Bikaner. The closest airport is Kishangarh, 30 km away, with limited regional flights; Jaipur airport is the main option for international visitors.
