Nevta Dam is a birding spot southwest of Jaipur, visited for the seasonal mix of waterbirds around the reservoir. Around 150 species have been recorded here, including lesser whistling-duck and eastern cattle egret.
It is best treated as a short nature detour rather than a polished attraction. Bring binoculars and go early, when the light and bird activity are better.
