Ram Niwas Garden is the broad green setting around Albert Hall Museum, laid out in the nineteenth century and still used as a central breathing space in Jaipur. Most visitors come for the museum, but the garden helps explain why the building feels so ceremonial: it was planned as part of a civic landscape, not just dropped beside a road.
The lawns, paths, bird life, and surrounding public facilities make it a useful pause between the old city and MI Road. It is not Jaipur's most beautiful garden, but it is one of its most public, and that everyday use gives it a different character from the palace gardens.
