Varaha Temple

Varaha Temple is one of Pushkar's oldest temples, dedicated to Vishnu in his boar incarnation. It is not as polished or as busy as the Brahma Temple, but its age and religious importance make it a worthwhile stop while walking through the town.

The temple has been rebuilt and repaired over the centuries, and the present structure is plain in places. That simplicity is part of its appeal: it feels less staged than Pushkar's better-known sights, and gives a quieter glimpse of the town's Vaishnavite side.
