The younger of Cirebon's two royal palaces and the more ceremonially active. The Sultan's descendants still live within the compound, giving it a lived-in quality that Kasepuhan lacks. The collection includes royal heirlooms and batik, and the palace hosts traditional ceremonies at significant points in the Javanese calendar. It receives fewer visitors than Kasepuhan, which means a quieter experience and more chance to look around at your own pace.
